Focus on Stroke VII

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the Canadian Stroke Network, the CIHR Institute of Aging and the CIHR Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health are pleased to announce the Request for Applications (RFA) for Focus on Stroke VII.

The aim of this initiative is to encourage more students, recent graduates and postgraduates, including health professionals to train in the field of stroke.

Increased stroke research capacity is needed in Canada to build on recent advances in stroke medicine and to prepare the health care system for the rising burden of stroke due to the aging population.
