Secondary Stroke Prevention Health Services and Care Competition Results

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC) is pleased to announce the results of the Secondary Stroke Prevention Health Services and Care competition. This funding opportunity is a partnership among HSFC, the Canadian Stroke Network, and CIHR Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health. The primary objective of the initiative is to help advance the goals of the Canadian Stroke Strategy by supporting research that examines how to improve the timely delivery of secondary prevention services and care that will ensure optimal outcomes for stroke patients.

Fifteen applications were submitted to the competiton and three have been approved for funding. The successful applications are listed below.
