Vascular Health and Dementia


The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and the Alzheimer Society of Canada, together with the CIHR Institute of Aging, the CIHR Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction, and the CIHR/Rx&D Research Program, supported by Pfizer Canada Inc. are pleased to announce the 2005/06 competition results (December 2004 submission) for the Vascular Health and Dementia Initiative.

The objective of this strategic initiative is to support research that explores the interrelationships between vascular health, vascular dementia and Alzheimer disease.

The successful applicants are listed below. An official letter will be sent to all applicants with the budget / funding details. If you have not received your letter by end of May, please contact the HSFC Research Department office.
