Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario

Martin L. Wills High School Student Scholarship

RECIPIENTS FOR SUMMER 2009

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario (HSFO) is pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s Martin L. Wills High School Student Scholarship awards.

In memory of Martin L. Wills, a former President of HSFO who served for eleven years as Director and as President from 1961 to 1964, the Board of Directors has established scholarships to allow Ontario high school students to spend a summer in cardiovascular and/or cerebrovascular research.

These scholarships are provided annually in Ontario to introduce high school students to the field of medical research during the summer months. The scholarships are valued at $2,250.00 for a period of two months.

An official letter will be sent to all applicants and their supervisors the week of May 18, 2009. The Foundation requests that you do not write or telephone with any enquiries before receiving this letter.
