Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario

Martin L. Wills High School Student Scholarship
RECIPIENTS FOR SUMMER 2004

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario is pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s Martin L. Wills High School Student Scholarship awards.

In memory of Martin L. Wills, a former President of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, who served for eleven years as a Director and was President from 1961 to 1964, the Board of Directors has established scholarships to allow Ontario high school students to spend a summer in cardiovascular and/or cerebrovascular research.

These scholarships are provided annually in Ontario to introduce high school students to the field of medical research during the summer months. The scholarships are valued at $2,250.00 for a period of two months.

An official letter will be sent to all applicants and their supervisors the week of April 19, 2004. The Foundation requests that you do not write or telephone with any enquiries before receiving this letter.
