Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario

John D. Schultz Science Student Scholarship
RECIPIENTS FOR SUMMER 2004

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario is pleased to announce the recipients of this year's John D. Schultz Science Student Scholarship awards.

In memory of John D. Schultz, a former President of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, who served for fifteen years as a Director and was President from 1975 to 1978, the Board of Directors has established scholarships to allow Ontario university science students to spend three summer months in cardiovascular and/or cerebrovascular research.

These scholarships are provided annually in Ontario for students enrolled in university science programs to introduce them to the field of medical research during the summer months. The scholarships are valued at $4,000.00 for a period of three months.

An official letter will be sent to all applicants and their supervisors the week of April 19, 2004. The Foundation requests that you do not write or telephone with any enquiries before receiving this letter.
