Either the applicant or host institution should be in receipt of Grant-in-Aid funding from the Heart and Stroke Foundation or other granting agency.

B. GENERAL INFORMATION
  1. This program is intended for Canadians to work abroad or at another Canadian institution or for foreign visitors to work at a Canadian institution.

  2. This program is designed primarily to supplement the Visiting Scientist's salary and/or to provide travel funds to and from the host institution. Either one or both of these features may be requested in the application.

  3. Since the number of awards is limited, awards will be made on the basis of the quality of the applicant as well as the quality of the proposed research.
